Our story begins in pristine mountain highlands, where Buddhist monks discovered a rare, sacred fruit prized for its sweetness: Monk Fruit (Luo Han Guo). Today, we still sustainably grow and harvest our fruit in that same region using traditional methods.

We formulated our own proprietary mixture of high-purity Monk Fruit extract and non-GMO Erythritol to be the best and closest substitute for sugar. Neither Monk Fruit nor Erythritol can match the sweetness of sugar by themselves. Monk Fruit is 200–300 times sweeter than sugar, while Erythritol is only 70% as sweet. Our special recipe combines the two ingredients to provide a healthy alternative that's spoon-for-spoon as sweet as sugar without the calories! Monk fruit is the key ingredient.
